An animation made in collaboration with Edith March and Ann Liu. The intent was to showcase a medical device via an 'exploded view' but also to create a memorable and unexpected product advertisement of a doctor's common tool.

PROCESS

I started by modeling a ‘primitive’ otoscope in order to establish the correct dimensions and to begin working with Edith to develop a preliminary animation.

I started by modeling a ‘primitive’ otoscope in order to establish the correct dimensions and to begin working with Edith to develop a preliminary animation.

Once the model was completed, I created materials and set up the lighting. The completed models replaced the primitive models that had been preliminarily animated.
